  • The following PLRW authors will participate in the Literacy Book Fair on Saturday October 24 at the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Put Your Heart in a Book Conference: Christine Bush, Rosemary Barraco w/a Rosemary Goodwin, Kathleen Coddington, Roni Denholtz, Tina Gallagher, and Sylvie Kaye.   • Christine Bush’s article, “Who’s in Your Family Today?” was published in the Fall issue of Lehigh Valley Family magazine and is on the web site at www.lehighvalleyfamily.com.
  • Nisha Sharma won First Place in the “sweet” category of the Ohio Valley Romance Writers’ Summer and Sizzle Contest for SUMMER LIST.
  • Sarah McCarty contracted with HQN to write three Highlander medieval historical romances. More news to come.
  • HER MAINE MAN by Sylvie Kaye is contracted and in edits–check back for release date!
  • “A Curran Affair” by Janice Curran will be published in the October 2008 issue of True Love magazine.
  • Sylvie Kaye has three books out, all from The Wild Rose Press: DEVIL IN COWBOY BOOTS was released as an e-book August 29 and will be in print October 31. BANNED IN TEXAS is available as an e-book at The Wild Rose Press and in print at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. WRONG SIDE OF LOVE, part of the Wayback Texas series, is available as an e-book now at The Wild Rose Press and will be included in a print anthology, Wild Wayback Nights, due out in November.
  • SALSA WITH ME by Roni Denholtz will be published in October 2008 by Avalon Books.
  • Terri Brisbin accepted an offer from Kensington to write a trilogy of Scottish historical romances with a touch of magic for their Brava line. The first of “The Gifted” trilogy will be a December 2009 release.
  • Kathy Kulig sold a paranormal erotic romance novel, DESERT OF THE DAMNED, to Ellora’s Cave.
  • Janice Curran sold a short story, “The Perfect Gift,” to Love Stories Magazine. Pub date to follow.
  • An essay by Mitzi Flyte will be published in The Ultimate Cat Lover’s Book, due out in November 2008.
  • CURTAINS IN STONINGTON by Rosemary Goodwin will be published July 29, 2008 by Samhein Publishing.
  • “Deadly Inked,” a short mystery by Mitzi Flyte, is included in the Deadly Ink Anthology 2008, available now.
  • Nisha Sharma finaled in the sweet category of the Ohio Valley chapter’s Summer Sizzle Contest with THE SUMMER LIST.
  • MISTRESS OF DECEPTION by Kathy Coddington is available now at Cerridwen Publishing.
  • ROMANCE BY THE BOOK, a contemporary romance byTina Gallagher, will be published by The Wild Rose Press on May 28, 2008.
  • Mary Ellen Van Buskirk’s short story, “Shifting Gears,” is now available on Rainbow Rumpus.
  • Rosemary Goodwin’s short story, “Holly Berry Dream,” will be published in an anthology, Christmas Traditions, in 2009.
  • Dianne Gerber won first place in the single title category of NJRW’s 2007 Put Your Heart in a Book contest with HIS WITNESS.
  • Nisha Sharma won third place in the single title category of NJRW’s 2007 Put Your Heart in a Book contest with EMAILS TO ELI.
  • Sylvie Kaye sold THREE books to The Wild Rose Press. More details to come!
  • Mary Ellen Van Buskirk w/a Ellie Kirk sold a short story to the online magazine, Rainbow Rumpus to run in the March issue, available March 11.
  • Tina Gallagher sold ROMANCE BY THE BOOK to The Wild Rose Press. More details to come!
  • MISTRESS OF DECEPTION by Kathy Coddington will be published April 10, 2008 by Cerridwen Publishing.
  • BANNED IN TEXAS by Sylvie Kaye is now available at The Wild Rose Press.
  • Tina Gallagher sold AND THERE ARE GIRLS YOU MARRY, a contemporary romance novel, to The Wild Rose Press. It will be published February 22, 2008.
  • Kathy Kulig received a three-star review in Romantic Times for SEDUCING THE STONES.
  • The cover Rosemary Goodwin’s THE DRAGONFLY, designed by Jinger Heaston, won an Ariana Award from EPIC in the historical/westerns/thriller/action-adventure category. The cover will compete with 12 other category winners for EPIC’s Quasar Award for overall excellence in book covers.
  • Kathy Kulig’s article, “To Kill a Vampire Hoax,” was published in Lady Jaided, Ellora’s Cave newsletter, and the Cerridwen Press newsletter.
  • WILD JADE by Kathy Kulig was published on January 3 by Cerridwen Press.
