  • Debra Maher won first place in the historical category of the Missouri Romance Writers’ Gateway to the Best contest with HEARTS IN WINTER.
  • Debra Maher finaled in the historical category of the Valley of the Sun Romance Writers’ Hot Prospects contest with HEARTS IN WINTER.
  • Janice Curran’s short story, “Alone in a Winter Wonderland: Who Will Keep Me Warm This Christmas?” will be published in the December 2007 issue of True Confessions magazine.
  • Debra Maher won second place in the historical category of the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Put Your Heart in a Book contest with CLAIRE’S CROSSING, which also won honorable mention in the historical category of PASIC’s Book of Your Heart contest.
  • Roni Denholtz won first place in the Regency category of the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Golden Leaf Contest for published authors with MARQUIS IN A MINUTE.
  • Nisha Sharma won second place in the “sweet” category of the Ohio Valley Romance Writers’ Summer Sizzzle contest with EMAILS TO ELI.

  • Dianne Gerber finaled in the single title category of the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Put Your Heart in a Book contest with HIS WITNESS.
  • Nisha Sharma finaled in the single title category of the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Put Your Heart in a Book contest with EMAILS TO ELI.
  • Janice Curran’s short story, “TGI … Thanksgiving,” will be published in the November 2007 issue of True Confessions magazine.
  • KILLER CAREGIVER by Janice McCabe will be published in November 2007.
  • WILD JADE by Kathy Kulig will be published on January 3, 2008.
  • SEDUCING THE STONES by Kathy Kulig will be published on October 17, 2007.

  • Kathy Kulig recently sold two books: WILD JADE will be published by Ellora’s Cave and SEDUCING THE STONES will be published by Cerridwen Press.
  • Sally Stotter’s murder mystery short story, “Promises,” will be included in the Death Knell IV anthology.
  • Rosemary Goodwin Barraco’s biography, THE LIFE OF OUIDA, THE ROMANTIC VICTORIAN WRITER FROM BURY ST. EDMUNDS, will be sold at the Moyse’s Hall Museum in Bury St. Edmunds, Rosemary’s hometown in Suffolk, England.
  • Mitzi Flyte was one of the 10 winners (out of 300 entries!) of Samhain Publishing’s Best First Line Contest with ELIZABETH PEACOCK AND THE BODY ON ABBEY ROAD. The prize is a reading of the full manuscript by editor Lindsey McGurk.
  • MARQUIS IN A MINUTE by Roni Denholtz is available now from Avalon Books. New York Times bestselling author Eloisa James says, “Marquis in a Minute is a fun, frothy, delightful story!”
  • LETTING GO by Sarah McCarty is one of the two books launching the new Spice Briefs line, and will be published in August.
  • Rosemary Goodwin Barraco won second place in the Deadly Ink short story contest with her story, “Deadly Ink,” which will be included in the Deadly Ink 2007 Anthology, available on Amazon.com.
  • Dianne Gerber won third place in the romantic suspense cateogory of the Charter Oak Romance Writers of Connecticut’s Golden Acorn Contest with HIS WITNESS.
  • Nisha Sharma finaled in the Ohio Valley Romance Writers’ Summer Sizzle Contest. Stay tuned for more details!
  • BEYOND DESIRE, the anthology that includes Kathy Kulig’s short story, “Call Derin,” will be published on September 19.
  • Mary Ellen Van Buskirk’s short story, “Gardens of Eden,” will be published in the June issue of Rainbow Rumpus, an online magazine for the children of GLBT parents. They will also publish another short story in July, details to follow.
  • KANE’S RECKONING by Sarah McCarty is avaliable for preorder on Amazon and will be released by Harlequin’s Spice imprint on November 1.
  • Rosemary Goodwin Barraco won two awards in the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group Flash fiction contest.
  • Dianne Gerber finaled in the Golden Oak Contest sponsored by Connecticut RWA with HIS WITNESS.
  • Rosemary Goodwin Barraco won second place in the short-short (1,000 words) category of a contest sponsored by the Central Jersey Chapter of Sisters In Crime.
  • THE WITCH BALL by Kathy Coddington will be published August 30, 2007 by Cerridwen Publishing.
  • Pattie Giordani had two articles published in the February edition of the Easton Irregular.
